I don't know many people who say Sunday night does not cause them anxiety. Obviously, this is due to the dread of work, the interactions with people that you are forced to hang work with, and the many other responsibilities or errands that were not accomplished during the weekend that now hang over our heads.
A stress on Sunday night that I take on is the inevitable, what do I have in my closet to wear to work tomorrow. I've heard so many people say that they really don't care about what they wear to the office and from can be seen around my office, this is totally a true statement. Is this because it is an added stress in our daily lives?
That is not the way I feel though. Waking up, getting dressed and adding that bit of style to my humdrum outfit to see how tastefully creative I can be, is a personal way for me to take on the week. Getting dressed isn't about the clothes as much as it is about a way of showing the world who I am before I even open my mouth. Personal style is attitude, it is armour, it is showcasing your personality.

Moi Lives Here... Really?!
They (I'm guessing "The Man") say you can never really go home, so how exactly did I get here?
Seriously? How did I arrive in this place living in Pittsburgh currently above my parents garage (praying that ends soon) where I am mentally and physically, away from the lights, sounds, culture, and overall bustle of my beloved NYC?
On the cusp of my 30th birthday, I have decided to create this blog really as a way to channel inspired thoughts on life and style as seen through the eyes of a pretty democratic but fabulous woman of style who happens to live in a town where people wear hockey jerseys to the office (and those people are lawyers). This is nothing revolutionary, nothing that hasn't been done before, but this will be a blog where I try to put it together for myself and hopefully it will help me get through this incredibly amazing but challenging time in life. The essence of this blog is really musings from an almost 30-someting on what creates une belle vie amid the daily juggle of work, marriage, family, future family, friends, house hunting, perfect hair, and obtaining a 4 pack.
